RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. This participation is open to all institutions in ASEAN region.

  2. INDIVIDUAL or GROUP participation. The maximum number of participants is FOUR (4)  per entry.

  3. The name printed on the certificate is based on the spelling and sequence during online registration.

  4. Each participant submits an entry by completing the online registration form and attaching a video and poster. The names of the participants/group members and the product titles cannot be modified.

  5. For the purposes of the evaluation process, only entries with complete documentation will be permitted to be uploaded in the system.

  6. Each participant must be cautious in selecting the setting category code based on the category menu information because it cannot be modified after registration.

MODE OF PRESENTATION

A. ORAL PRESENTATION (In-Person)

  1. The in-person presentation is scheduled on 07 October 2026.

  2. Each presenter will get 5 Minutes to do their presentation and 3 Minutes for Q & A session.

  3. Please stand near your poster for conversations and questions during the session.

B. ONLINE PRESENTATION

  1. The poster presentation will be held on 06 October 2026 using the Webex application

  2. Each presenter will get 5 Minutes to do their poster presentation and 3 Minutes for Q & A session.

VIDEO GUIDELINE

  1. The video must be uploaded to the YouTube channel. Please set the privacy setting to “UNLISTED” or “PUBLIC” only.

  2. The product video should add the following information to the content: Introduction, Problem Statement, Design Methodology, Product Description and Impact

  3. There is no restriction to use other supporting video tools such as Powtoon, Spark video, Power Point, or a recording of you presenting the product.

  4. A clear and creative product video will be a good impression to the jury.

  5. Product duration MUST NOT EXCEED 5 MINUTES.

  6. The product video can be done in English or Malay.

  7. The resolution of the video should be high definition (720p or 1080p).

EVALUATION CRITERIA

  1. The flow of the product presentation is should be logical and easy to follow.

  2. The audio must be clear, audible, and free from distracting background noise.

  3. The presentation is appropriate in length – not too long or too short (less than 4 minutes).

  4. The video is presented in a creative and attractive way.

  5. The product's functionality should be clearly demonstrated in the video.

POSTER GUIDELINE

  1. Participants are required to use the provided ReVEx poster template for submission.

  2. Please prepare an A2-size infographic poster (Portrait) in either English or Malay using the information provided:

  • The title of Project Leader, Project Members & Instituition

  • Introduction / Background

  • Problem Statement

  • Objectives

  • Material/ Method

  • Result

  • Impact

  • Picture or Diagram

  3. The poster must be submitted in PDF format ONLY.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

A.  Appearance and Organization

  1. Contributing colours to understanding, not distracting

  2. Font (Size, style, quality)

  3. Effective use of space

  4. Overall appeal (balanced composition, catchy)

B.  Content of the poster

  1. Catchy title reflecting the content of the poster.

  2. The background is clearly stated.

  3. The problem statement is clearly explained.

  4. Clear and concise materials and methods

  5. The project has significant impact.

  6. Good grammar, spelling and punctuation.

  7. Have an appropriate amount of details.
