Politeknik Negeri Padang (PNP), Indonesia and Malaysian Technical Doctorate Association (MTDA) have made significant strides in an international collaborative venture by organising the Regional TVET Innovation Competition Through Exhibition (ReVEx) Vol.2 with our esteemed co-organisers, i.e Research and Innovation Centre, Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education, Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan and Polytechnics and Community Colleges (Johor Zone).

ReVEx Vol.2 is scheduled from 6th-8th October 2026 at Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, Malaysia. ReVEx Vol.2 is an exhibition-based competition with a hybrid format, which serves as a rendezvous of innovation for all the creative and forward-thinking designers from the Asian region.  One  of  the  main  objectives  of  ReVEx  is to

enhance the creativity and culture of innovation among the participants  so as to  enable  them to develop top-notch innovation projects which adhere to the established quality standards.

Furthermore, as a premier platform that will bring together all the inventive minds to discuss and exchange insights into future opportunities, ReVEx will definitely have a positive impact on the global TVET leaders in general and the Malaysian community in particular. Indirectly, ReVEx offers a dynamic environment where our TVET students can fully immerse themselves in problem-solving, creative thinking and practical project development to foster the creation of high-impact and world-class innovative projects. This will support the development of their confidence and communication skills within an international context, thereby serving as a strategy to cultivate our TVET graduates with global citizenship and holistic attributes.

ReVEx Vol.2 aims to serve as a nexus for academics, researchers and educators worldwide, fostering the exchange of pioneering research and innovative methodologies across diverse disciplines while addressing the theme “Fostering Sustainable Futures: Integrating TVET Education for Global Impact”.
